Rotaract provides an opportunity for Greater Los Angeles’s young professional leaders to promote responsible citizenship, develop professional skills and employ effective leadership by offering venues to learn from proven leaders, network with committed young professionals, and serve the needs of community.
Rotaract District 5280 encompasses the ten Rotaract clubs in the Greater Los Angeles area, stretching from San Pedro to the Valley and as far east as Downey. Members can participate in their local communities at the club level, and work with other Rotaract and Rotary clubs in the district on collaborative projects. The District Board is tasked with maintaining communication between the individual clubs and the Rotary District.
Big West Rotaract Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides leadership training and education to students & young professionals on the west coast of North America.
BWR's annual conferences & institutes serve as annual gathering points for Rotaractors to receive training and network with fellow leaders across the region.
